1970's Miles Davis?

Throughout the 1970's most critics were tough on Miles Davis for exploring new musical territory and attitude. Looking back, I think it's some of the most daring music ever created. This bead is dedicated to 70's era Miles.

Making a statement....

This clip really sums up 70's era Miles; wah-wah trumpet , the big glasses , the lazy strut , loose composition , and a great fresh band to keep things funky.

Miles really takes his time building this groove, occasionally spitting right on the stage to show who's in charge of the room. His attitude was too punk for the jazz scene. He was also hanging with Sly Stone a lot during this period :)
