1970's Miles Davis?

Throughout the 1970's most critics were tough on Miles Davis for exploring new musical territory and attitude. Looking back, I think it's some of the most daring music ever created. This bead is dedicated to 70's era Miles.

Miles At Isle Of Wight 1970

I imagine that Miles' ego was a tad bruised by all the attention that Hendrix got for his performance at this same festival. Miles obviously decided to step up his freakiness shortly after this performance by adding a more flashy wardrobe and wah wah trumpet into the mix.

Personnel:
Miles Davis (tpt)
Gary Bartz (ss, as)
Chick Corea (el-p)
Keith Jarrett (org)
Dave Holland (b, el-b)
Jack DeJohnette (d)
Airto Moreira (perc)

The dream team !!
