Having helped construct the single post restriction in this Bead, I'm now cursing myself. So many new artists, films, books, etc. But if I'm honest, the most rewarding and fulfilling thing to me that has happened this year has been the resurgence of Roger Federer. 2013 ended w folks saying he was going down fast and ignobly. But what a year he had, freed from his back troubles, moving lithely about the court. Every point, even the ones he lost, I savored. I am lucky to be alive while that man is playing tennis.
