This bead (suggested by Daniel Burstein) was inspired by the poet Rives who gave an amazing Ted Talk about how 4AM is used in songs, films, poems, Giacometti sculpture. As he puts it "for a time that I find placid, four in the morning sure does get a lot of bad press." But I find this fascinating - and thought we could create a bead to explore the evolution of its use from moments of inspiration, to exasperation, to loneliness. I'm putting this in the ideas category - but any type of audio/video is welcome - film, comedy, music, art, etc.

Rives has built a nice site to collect 4am references called fourinthemorning.com.

It's 4 o'clock in the morning, dammit, listen to me good

I endorse this bead, yet at the same time I stand with F. Scott Fitzgerald, who sez, "In a real dark night of the soul, it is always three o'clock in the morning, day after day."
