Herbie Hancock - Rockit

Dir: Godley and Creme

This is such a great song by Herbie Hancock and artsy video. Godley and Creme really went all in with the spinning Duchampian bicycle wheel, the automaton-mannequins, the baby sitting at the table eating breakfast, the shaking mannequin with the yellow and orange David Bowie wig, the crazy bird standing near the broken window, the flying burlesque mannequins, hanging slacks and moving animatronic sculptures. Love the headless guy slouching in the chair reading the newspaper and the lady mannequin going 'oops upside the head' by knocking the guy out. Hahahaha. So much fun. This is New Wave at its best. That whole album by Herbie Hancock is great, by the way.
