That conchord of sound of keyboards and bellows, is the IT instrument again, if it ever was. More variable in style than stylish to wear, artists of all stripes strap on the squeezebox and make music of many genres: Folk, Zydeco, Retro Rock, Vallenato, Tango, Klezmer, Musette, Gawwali, Forró, Bachata, Balkans Russian Bluegrass, World Busker Punk, and Gypsy Gospel. Give it a squeeze.

Canray Fontenot and Bois Sec Ardoin [Accordion and Fiddle, Louisiana Creole Music]

Canray Fontenot and Bois Sec Ardoin

Here's a great recording of Canray Fontenot playing fiddle and Bois Sec Ardoin playing accordion; this is Louisiana Creole Music, which gave birth to zydeco music. These two musicians were legends in the genre. I wish people in other parts of the country/world knew more about this kind of music. It's regional, and you can't find it anywhere else except for the Gulf area.
