That conchord of sound of keyboards and bellows, is the IT instrument again, if it ever was. More variable in style than stylish to wear, artists of all stripes strap on the squeezebox and make music of many genres: Folk, Zydeco, Retro Rock, Vallenato, Tango, Klezmer, Musette, Gawwali, Forró, Bachata, Balkans Russian Bluegrass, World Busker Punk, and Gypsy Gospel. Give it a squeeze.

Astor Piazzolla - Finale (Tango Apasionado)
Jaime Wolf

El Maestro

Astor Piazzolla, composer, innovator of the nuevo tango, and sublime bandoneón player. His interplay with the violinist Fernando Suarez Paz is to die for-- this piece comes from The Rough Dancer and the Cyclical Night, a song cycle inspired by Borges, which might be my favorite single record of his (and on some days just my favorite single record period).
