This bead celebrates compositions in which the sharpening of the third note in a chord--F# to G in Dmajor; C# to D in A major, etc..--is a crucial element of the song. (Think "Pinball Wizard" or "Crazy Little Thing Called Love.") Those sharpened grace notes are everywhere when you listen for them--and where would we be without them? Why are they so ubiquitous?
